Here is a video snippet from my text ‘Lazarus’ during our evening of Body Texts. I closed with thoughts on claustrophobia, within the body, within space, within the hegemonic realities both physical and digital. New words in issue 2 of Archivio magazine. I haven’t published much for a while as I was finishing a novel, but here’s a new piece. Another collab with Brad Feuerhelm who gave forth some searing vernacular photos taken on a tour during the gulf war. My story is entitled ‘Black Hands’ written through the voice of a gulf war vet, who, many years later reckons painfully with his resignation at the limitations of mankind and the eternal enterprise of ritual, sacrifice and scapegoat. Out now with Archivio MagazineRead More
I was invited as artist-in-residence by the wonderful people at The Lemon Tree residency in Tuscany. Two weeks of holding craft talks, stimulating conversations about practice, life and food with a varied and dynamic group of writers and artists, whilst still managing to work. Highly recommended!
